Winter 11+ and Pre-test Revision Courses

First course dates: 17th to 20th December, 10am – 1pm each day (4 x 3 hour days)
Second course dates: 2nd to 4th January, 10am – 2pm daily (3 x 4 hour days)

Cost for each course (12 hours per course): £395

Emmanuel Church, Lyncroft Gardens, Hampstead NW6 1JU

Please note that the winter courses will contain entirely different tasks and papers to the summer and autumn courses.

Please note that these two courses will be identical. The days are timed differently due to the number of bank holidays over this period, but there will be a consistent 12 hours of contact time for each group.

Working with a group of up to 12 Y6 pupils, we will revise key trouble-spots from the English and Maths syllabi, focus on exam technique and time management, workshop the reasoning questions that trip most pupils up, and discuss preparation and presentation for interviews. Given that a number of the pupils are likely to be facing the new Consortium tests as well as more traditional 11+ papers and pre-test assessments, we will include teaching and practice for multiple choice CEM papers.

The course finishes with 3 mock exams: English, Maths, and a CEM (reasoning) test. Detailed feedback and tips will be rapidly circulated to help pupils boost their grades and manage the final days of their revision period. We keep the course very positive, and aim to relieve pressure and inspire confidence through clear, thorough and supportive preparation.

Past participants have earned places at: St. Paul's (Girls' and Boys' Schools), Westminster, North London Collegiate, City, Habs’, Highgate, UCS, Merchant Taylors’, Francis Holland, South Hampstead High, Latymer Upper, Godolphin, Notting Hill and Ealing, Winchester, Eton, Wycombe Abbey and many more. Several have been offered academic scholarships.

Our winter courses are often the most popular of all, and with several places pre-booked already, we would encourage you to get in touch ASAP if you'd like your child to attend. You can book a place or ask any questions by emailing or calling the office.
